We at Trinity believe that Jesus died for the forgiveness of all people. That leads us to boldly proclaim that all are welcome, and that means at communion too. Wherever you are at in your faith journey, know that the grace and love given in Holy Communion is for you as well. We feel strongly that our job as Christians is to welcome all people so that all people might know the love, forgiveness, and mercy of God. Because of that commitment, we practice "open table communion." That means we leave it between you and God to decide if you should take Holy Communion. We will not turn anyone away from the table.
Holy Communion is served on the first and third Sundays of the month, in addition to special days. People who do not wish to receive communion, but would like to come forward can still receive an individual blessing during communion.
First Communion instruction is held each spring. We leave it up to the discernment of the parents/guardians to determine when a child is ready to receive their First Communion.
